David Golden

DAVID GOLDEN is a principal in Ernst & Young’s Washington, D.C. National Office and the Co-Director of E&Y’s Capital Markets Tax Practice. His practice focuses on the taxation of domestic and international financial products, transactions and structures. He is a frequent speaker and has authored a number of articles and other publications on topics in this area. David is currently co-chair of an American Bar Association Tax Section subcommittee on foreign currency and financial instruments. David graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1984, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and an editor of the law review. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University in 1981. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, David was a tax partner in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan.
