J.D. CHOI, J.D., CPA, is an International Tax expert and Tax Software Development leader.  Prior to forming Tax Technologies, Inc. ("TTI"), JD worked for over 14 years as an international tax consultant with a number of the Big Four accounting firms. During his career with the Big Four accounting firms, JD worked as an international tax consultant in New York. JD successfully created an international tax specialty group, Quantitative Consulting Services ("QCS"), to service the needs of multinational corporations with international tax information for tax planning. JD worked on a variety of engagements requiring an in-depth understanding of international tax issues, including determination of earnings and profits, overall foreign losses, tax basis calculations, and pre- and post- disposition attribute studies. JD was instrumental in the conceptual design of international compliance systems, designing the paradigm, critical screens, international tax calculations, and tax calculation testing scenarios as well as integration of foreign provision and tax compliance.  

JD started his career as an auditor for one of the Big Four accounting firms.  During his tenure as an auditor, he developed audit tools to automate the financial audit documentation process.  JD developed an audit documentation application that created audit referencing and documentation to meet the financial audit documentation requirements. JD graduated from the University of Texas and New York Law School. He is a member of the Texas State CPA, AICPA, ABA, and New York and New Jersey Bar associations.
