Richard Eigenbrode is Senior Director, International Taxes, at Applied Materials, Inc.  Based in Santa Clara, California, Applied is the world’s largest producer of wafer fabrication systems and services for the global semiconductor industry.  At Applied, Rick is responsible for international tax planning matters and transfer pricing issues.  Prior to joining Applied in 1993, Rick spent almost ten years with Price Waterhouse in San Francisco as an international tax senior manager and director.  While at PW, he served a two-year National Office tour-of-duty in New York with the firm’s director of international tax services.  Rick also practiced law with major law firms in San Francisco and Chicago, and interned with the Joint Committee on Taxation of the U.S. Congress.   A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Boston University School of Law, Rick brings over 20 years of experience in transfer pricing, structuring cross-border investments, and foreign tax credit planning.
