Stephen Land is a Partner in the New York office of Linklaters. He has significant experience in tax aspects of US domestic and international corporate finance. Some transaction details include: advising British Aerospace on their acquisition of Marconi Electronic Systems; advising Coopers & Lybrand on their merger with Price Waterhouse; advising Dutch Water Boards on the US leasing of Dutch water treatment facilities; advising UBS Warburg on the US acquisition financing by Fosters of Beringer Wine Estates;  advising Sasol on a Nigerian gas liquefaction joint venture with Chevron; advising BC Partners on US tax and ERISA aspects of their European private equity funds. Mr. Land received his B.A. and J.D. from Harvard University.
