| WILLIAM DODGE Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Washington, DC William Dodge is a partner of the National and Global Transfer Pricing Team for Deloitte & Touche LLP in Washington, D.C. He has worked in New York, London and Tokyo, where he served many of the firm’s largest U.S. and foreign clients. While in Tokyo, he worked extensively in transfer pricing, both with respect to Japanese companies investing in the U.S., and with U.S. and European corporations operating in Japan. Since he returned to the U.S., Mr. Dodge has worked exclusively in transfer pricing, including documentation and planning studies, audit defense, Competent Authority and Advance Pricing Agreements. He is currently managing an Engagement in which Deloitte & Touche’s Washington and Tokyo transfer pricing teams are assisting in industry coalition of major multinational companies in devising their defense strategies against transfer pricing audits by the tax authorities in Japan. Prior to his assignment in Tokyo, Mr. Dodge was the Partner-in-charge of the U.S. Corporate Tax Group in the London office where he was responsible for tax services to many significant foreign-based multinationals investing in the U.S. He is a member of the BNA Tax Management Board of Advisors (Transfer Pricing) and a regular speaker at seminars. He has been published in the IBFD International Transfer Pricing Journal and Tax Notes International among others. Mr. Dodge holds a Masters of Accountancy (Tax) from the University of Georgia and BA’s in Accounting and History from Walsh College. |
