ZIAD AYASH, PH.D. is a Partner at Multi National Strategies in New York City, specializing in transfer pricing and valuation analysis.  Prior to joining Multi National Strategies, Ziad spent 8 years as a senior manager and a senior economist at the “Big 4” where he provided transfer pricing and valuation services to major multinational corporations.  The transfer pricing services included contemporaneous documentation studies, audit defense and tax planning. He participated in numerous transfer pricing seminars in the U.S. and abroad. Ziad also specializes in the creation of intangible holding companies in tax-favored states.  Before working for the “Big 4” Ziad was with the Internal Revenue Service where he helped draft the 1994 U.S. transfer pricing regulations.  In addition, to his transfer pricing and valuation experience, Ziad has an extensive academic background in finance and international finance.  He taught economics and finance for over 10 years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Illinois and Pennsylvania. Mr. Ziad holds a Ph.D. in economics from Southern Illinois University. He has several publications in the area of international banking and finance. He is a member of the American Economic association and the International Tax Institute.
